RELAXRELAXRELAX
Interactive installation, discussing the triviality of the attention economy & obsession about “being in the present”. The installation translates visitor’s “level of meditation” through real time EEG -data (measuring brain activity) that is translated to live animated visuals, while the visitor is asked to remain relaxed and meditate. The satire lies in that most visitors were tempted to turn around and look at the visuals their brain created rather than focusing on the meditation. The work was exhibited at R1 in 2024.
